CONSEQUENCES OF OUR CHOICES!

I kinda knew that what I was doing wasn’t right… but I got so much satisfaction, I thought, “this has to be right!”
A man named Mr. Johnson came to visit the V.I. He didn’t know me and I didn’t know him but he knew God. He called out to me and said, “God said you need to make a decision with your life tonight. If you don’t, it will take you a very long time to get out of the situation that you are in.”
By any chance are you currently at a crossroad within your own life? Jeremiah the prophet says when you get to the crossroad stop and look around; ask for the old Godly way, and walk in it.
Unfortunately, I chose what gave me satisfaction. Hmmm…14 years later I am still dealing with the remnants of a poor choice which I was warned about. It was all fun and games while going through. Thinking of just me and my current wants.
This is just a short reminder that EVERY choice we make has consequences (whether good or bad)-and some may have a lasting impact on the rest of our lives.
As I was reading Jeremiah, I realized the seriousness of not listening to the prophets. As I read and applied the Word to my life, I realized… had I made the decision Mr. Johnson, the prophet, was encouraging me to make 14 years ago I would not be dealing with letting go issues now. And here I was blaming people for how they treated me, when God had already provided an escape long ago. It was I who didn’t choose wisely. I held on to dead situations for far too long. Thank God for being so merciful! I AM COMING OUT…LETTING GO AND LIVING FREE!
Relax! Exhale! LIVE FREE!
